Workshop Overview and General Information
ALISTER BENN has been running photographic workshops to the north coast of Spain for over 10 years and has an incredibly detailed knowledge of not just the more iconic, well known areas, but dozens of secret spots known only to a few locals. This experience of the geography, weather, tides and seasons allows Expressive Photography to deliver incredible bespoke workshops for people seeking something more from their photography and creativity.
Whether you are looking to explore with a wide-angled lens or a longer zoom, there is something for everyone at every location. We will be starting in the east for a few days, then heading west to central Asturias for 6 nights before making our way back to Bilbao. We travel through so many different rock types and the architecture of the coast seems infinite in its variability.
The workshop will start for dawn on the 9th and finish at 2pm on the 18th.

Alister Benn & Adam Gibbs
Alister Benn and Adam Gibbs have been friends for nearly 20 years, having first met through the Nature Photographer’s Network in 2004. They have shared numerous photographic adventures together in the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver Island, the Gobi Desert, Yellow Mountains, the western isles of Scotland and of course the North Coast of Spain, where they ran their first workshops together in January 2023.
With quite different styles and approaches, they compliment each other very well. Always eager to have a laugh and to share their passion for being in the landscape. Feedback from their workshops together is always positive and we can assure you the best of experiences.

Payment Terms
Once you have submitted your registration form and had confirmation that a place is available for you, we will send out an invoice for the deposit of £1000. Payment of the deposit indicates you agree with our terms and conditions
Final invoices for the remaining balance are sent out 90 days before the start of the workshop and must be paid within 30 days of receipt.
