We have a great affinity with water, given that this element makes up over 60% of our bodies. As artists it seems like an obvious medium for expression, metaphorical rhythms and the flowing change of impermanence. The rocks of the west coast of Scotland, far out on Europe’s western rim endure; and how they endure. Timescales beyond imagining, moment to one transient moment, for eons. But, in time, all things will weaken.
